Stephen Hawking
Zero Gravity Delight for Hawking!
Professor Stephen Hawking experienced what it was like to be an astronaut as he embarked on a zero G
gravity Flight aboard a specialised Boeing 747.
Professor Hawking who has suffered from motor neurone disease for over four decades was able to float
freely for 30 second intervals during the flight.
The Professor said of the flight "The Zero G part was wonderful and the higher G part was no problem. I
could have gone on and on! Space here I come!"
The next step into space for the professor will be when he takes a board Richard Branson's Virgin Galatic
spaceships which will fly to an altitude of 140Km.
